Sheldon G. Adelson , , , Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Sheldon G. Adelson is an internationally renowned businessman, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. His business career spans nearly seven decades and has included creating and developing to maturity more than 50 different companies, including the COMDEX tradeshow for the computer industry. At his direction, COMDEX became the world’s largest TRADE show with a presence in many different countries.

Mr. Adelson is also the founder of Las Vegas Sands Corp. - a company which has become the leading global developer of integrated resorts, which feature premium accommodations, world-class gaming and entertainment, convention and exhibition facilities, celebrity chef restaurants, and many other amenities.

As the company’s chairman and chief executive officer, Mr. Adelson’s penchant for challenging and changing the status quo has led the company to overwhelming success in every location in which it operates.

In Las Vegas he is widely credited for helping transform the city from a gaming-centric regional location into the leading convention and exhibition city in the United States. In Macao, Mr. Adelson’s vision to recreate the Las Vegas Strip was originally panned by most observers, but since opening The Venetian Macao on the Cotai Strip in 2007, his development plans have become the envy of international leisure and hospitality operators everywhere.

In 2010, Mr. Adelson set the bar even higher with the opening of the $6 billion Marina Bay Sands integrated resort in Singapore. In addition to all the amenities that have become the hallmarks of Las Vegas Sands-developed properties, this iconic facility features a three-acre SkyPark which sits more than 50-stories off the ground and on top of the property’s three hotel towers.

Having been featured on the cover of more than 50 different publications, Mr. Adelson has been profiled by many of the world’s leading print and broadcast news organizations.

He has earned multiple honorary degrees and has been a guest lecturer at various colleges and universities, including the University of New Haven, Harvard Business School, Columbia Business School, Tel Aviv University and Babson College.

Among his numerous awards for his business and philanthropic work are the Armed Forces Foundation’s Patriot Award, Hotel Investment Conference’s Innovation Award, the Woodrow Wilson Award for Corporate Citizenship and induction into the American Gaming Association’s Hall of Fame.

Mr. Adelson and his wife, Dr. Miriam Adelson, are noted philanthropists who donate to a variety of civic and charitable causes.

Robert G. Goldstein , , , President and Chief Operating Officer

Rob Goldstein is president and chief operating officer of Las Vegas Sands (LVS) and assumed that role in January 2015 after serving in a variety of leadership positions since joining the company in 1995.

As president and COO, he provides strategic direction to the company’s global properties, guides the pursuit of new development opportunities and oversees the company’s efforts to continually maximize value for its shareholders. He also is focused on driving LVS’ industry-leading approach to compliance, furthering the company’s efforts to be a good community partner and ensuring LVS remains widely recognized as a best-in-class employer.

Prior to this leadership role, Mr. Goldstein had been LVS’ president of global gaming operations since 2011, where he was responsible for every facet of the company’s industry-leading gaming operations in Asia and the United States. As the president of global gaming, Mr. Goldstein set the direction for the company’s gaming business from the hiring of key personnel to the development and execution of strategic initiatives. His leadership helped LVS achieve a significant number of industry records for financial performance and also positioned the company as leader in the important area of regulatory compliance.

One of the most-respected and knowledgeable hospitality and gaming executives in the industry today, Mr. Goldstein joined LVS during the planning phases of The Venetian in Las Vegas, the company’s first integrated resort. By attracting leading retailers, restaurateurs and other important leisure attractions, he helped shape the identity of the property and set the stage for its long-lasting success. From 1999 to 2010, Mr. Goldstein served as president and chief operating officer of The Venetian, as well as The Palazzo Las Vegas, a 3,000-all suite hotel which is connected to The Venetian and opened in 2008.

Mr. Goldstein graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and received his law degree from the Temple University School of Law. He and his wife, Sheryl, reside in Las Vegas and are active in the local community. Mr. Goldstein serves on the Board of Directors of Opportunity Village, The Adelson Drug Rehabilitation Clinic and the Emeril Lagasse Foundation. The couple has two adult children, Scott and Courtney.

Lawrence “Lon" Jacobs , , , Executive Vice President and Global General Counsel

Lon Jacobs is executive vice president and global general counsel of Las Vegas Sands (LVS), a role he assumed in September 2016. He is responsible for the leadership and oversite of the company’s legal affairs around the world.

Mr. Jacobs is a seasoned public company general counsel and has had a long distinguished legal career in both private practice and in the corporate world.

Prior to joining LVS, Mr. Jacobs served as executive vice president and general counsel for Time Inc., as well as senior executive vice president and group general counsel for News Corporation. Additionally, he served as general counsel of Empire State Development, New York State’s chief economic development agency, where he had oversight over all legal matters. Mr. Jacobs began his legal career at Squadron Ellenoff (now part of Hogan Lovell’s).

Mr. Jacobs is a Trustee of the New-York Historical Society, Muhlenberg College, and American Corporate Partners, and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States.

He graduated from Temple University, summa cum laude, and Brooklyn Law School, cum laude, where he was a member of the Law Review.

Patrick Dumont , , , Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Dumont is chief financial officer of Las Vegas Sands (LVS), a role he assumed in March 2016 after serving in senior operating and finance positions since joining the company in June of 2010. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of finance and strategy for three years, providing strong leadership to LVS’ global financial function.

As CFO, he is responsible for maintaining the industry’s strongest balance sheet, preserving the financial flexibility needed to pursue new development opportunities, continuing LVS’ strong commitment to return excess capital to shareholders and fulfilling the company’s commitment to leading the industry in financial controls.

Prior to joining LVS, Mr. Dumont worked in investment banking at Miller Buckfire and Bear Stearns. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School.
